    Atlantis Baha Mar
General Overview The Atlantis is a 3,414 room resort consisting of 5 categories of hotels as well as the Harborside at Atlantis vacation ownership and the exclusive One & Only Ocean Club.  Rooms range from the moderately priced to the ultra exclusive. The Baha Mar is consists of more than 2,900 rooms from different hotel brands including the Baha Mar Casino & Hotel, the Grand Hyatt, the Rosewood Hotel and the All Inclusive Melia at Baha Mar.  The Baha Mar will also have a variety of room options from the moderately priced to the ultra high end.
Casino The Atlantis casino will soon become the second largest casino in the Caribbean with Baha Mar soon to over take it.  The Atlantis features table games, slots and a newly renovated sports book.  Gaming is also available outdoors at the Cove. The Baha Mar Casino & Hotel will feature the largest casino in the Caribbean.  The casino has a complete array of slots, table games and a sports book.  The Baha Mar claims that its casino will be “and one of the most discreetly opulent and sophisticated to be found anywhere in the world.”
Restaurants The Atlantis has several gourmet restaurants from award winning chefs Bobby Flay, Jean-George and Nobu.  There are also plenty of kid friendly dinning options like Johnny Rockets and Carmines. There is still limited information on the restaurants at Baha Mar, but they will have over 40 restaurants, bars and lounges.
Distance to the Airport The Atlantis is about a 30 to 45 minute car ride from Nassau International Airport depending on traffic. The Baha Mar is located on Nassau’s cable beach and is only about 10 to 15 minutes from the airport depending on traffic.
Family Options Atlantis has a wide variety of options for families including a full waterpark Aquaventure that includes a lazy river like no other, waterslides and the Current.  The marine life featured in the resorts private aquariums will keep kids entertained all day long. The Baha Mar is a fine resort for family’s, but is definitely catering to the higher end and couple’s market than a place for kids.
