    Powerboat Adventures Ship Channel Cay

Ship Channel Cay in the Bahamas

Powerboat Adventures offers a unique and exciting way to experience the Bahamas.  If you are looking for a thrilling day of boating, snorkeling and seeing aquatic life, this is the trip for you.  Your day starts with a one hour high speed boat ride carving through 38 miles of remote islands of the Bahamas on your way to the cays of Exuma.  The first stop is Allen Cay, a small island inhabited by iguanas.  There you can job off the boat into the water and feed the iguanas grapes.

The next stop on your journey is to Ship Channel Cay.  This private island is two miles long and a half of a mile wide.  On the island you will enjoy a tropical paradise complete with an all inclusive lunch, beautiful beaches, snorkeling and an open bar.

Before jumping in the water you can watch the Ship Channel Cay team feed the sharks right from the beach.  You can see a mix of Caribbean Reef, Lemon and Nurse sharks.  Then its your turn for a chance to feed the Sting Rays as they swim right up to your feet.  After all that excitement and a good meal you can go for a swim or snorkel around the local reefs.  If you are not in the mood to swim, you hike around the island, sit on the beach or enjoy a drink on the dock.  Best of all, all you need to bring is a bathing suit, change of clothes, sun lotion and a towel.  Powerboat Adventures provides the rest.
