Stuart Cove is the premier scuba and snorkeling company in the Bahamas and perhaps the whole Caribbean. Stuart Cove offers Scuba, Snorkeling and mini sub experiences. They even have a production company that has helped film three James Bond movies and been featured several times on the Discovery Channel. Stuart Cove provides transportation to and from all hotels on Paradise Island.
Stuart Cove’s fleet of 8 boats can accommodate up to 200 divers a day. They are are the largest dive operator on the island. The location is a little further away from Paradise Island, but the access to better dive sites makes up for the 45 minute trip. Stuart Cove also operates scuba trips for Blue Adventures, with boats leaving from the Atlantis daily.
Stuart Cove offers a variety of one and two tank dive options including shallow water, wrecks, wall and night dives. They offer something for divers at all levels and provide training for beginners. The Extreme Shark Adventure is something you will not forget. It is a two tank dive ending with a feeding frenzy of Caribbean Reef and Nurse Sharks. They have a modern dive shop to rent or purchase any equipment that you need. Most dives are accompanied with a photographer and videographer, so you can purchase a video of your dive. Passengers not looking to dive can come along on the boat for a small fee.
Stuart Cove also offers fantastic snorkeling for those that are not quite ready for scuba diving or just want a leisurely swim. Snorkeling trips run daily with transportation to and from the hotel. Packages include snorkels, masks, fins and life vests. Wet-suits can be rented for an additional charge during the colder months. Passengers not looking to snorkel can come along on the boat for a small fee.
Stuart Cove’s Sub-Bahamas offers a unique way to see the aquatic life, reefs and wrecks of the Bahamas. The subs are self propelled machines with a two foot clear dome that allows you to breath as you normally would without any snorkel or regulator in your mouth. The subs dive to a depth of no more than 20 feet and allow you full control to navigate the wonders of the ocean world. No prior training or experience is required. The professional team at Stuart Cove will show you everything that you need to do. Trips run twice a day except Mondays and Thursdays. This a an experience that you should not miss.
